Communication & Media Studies Research Network

Conference

Founded in 2015, the Communication & Media Studies Research Network offers an interdisciplinary forum for the discussion of the role of the media and communications in society.

The Communication & Media Studies Conference attendees include leaders in the field, as well as emerging scholars, who travel to the conference from all corners of the globe and represent a broad range of disciplines and perspectives. A variety of presentation options and session types offer opportunities for attendees to share their work, discuss key issues in the field, and build relationships with attendees.

Publishing

The Communication & Media Studies Research Network supports a journal and book imprint. Anyone may submit an article or book proposal for consideration. Those accepted become members and then move through a review process leading to publication.

Community

The Communication & Media Studies Research Network offers several opportunities for ongoing communication among its members. Any member may upload video presentations based on scholarly work to the network YouTube channel. Quarterly email newsletters contain updates on our conference, journal, and books as well as other news from the field. Join the conversations on Facebook and Twitter, or explore our new social media platform, Scholar.
